Souvik Kumar Das joined HOPEDWELL Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd. in 2018 as Head of Accounting & Finance. Prior to joining HOPEDWELL, he led corporate branding, training and marketing initiatives in Maritime Training Sector. Mr. Das holds a Bachelor in Commerce from the University of Calcutta.

Being an ECE student, he has been a part of various solar energy projects during his student life and realized that solar energy is a major renewable energy source with the potential to meet many of the challenges facing today’s world.

In his words, “Solar energy is nothing but the radiant energy emitted by Sun.On the average sunny day the sun shines approximately 1,000 watts of energy per square meter, enough energy to power all of our electricity needs and excess. We are devoted about contributing to a world, which does not depend on power from fossil fuels. Our aim is to accelerate the adoption of solar technology across the world to conserve our environment and provide an eco-friendly, sustainable and conflict-free power supply.”
